Yes, Cash App Business charges a processing fee when you receive customer payments. Cash App currently lists a fee of 2.6% plus $0.15 for payments received from a customer’s Cash App account. For example, if a customer sends your business $100, Cash App would deduct $2.75, leaving $97.25 in your account.
Cash App also charges a 3% processing fee for certain card payments accepted through a business account. Tap to Pay transactions made with contactless cards or digital wallets are currently subject to a flat 3% processing fee.
Creating a Cash App Business account is free, and Cash App does not list a monthly subscription fee for the standard account. Instead, fees are deducted when you receive qualifying business payments. Personal payments between friends and family may be handled differently, but business accounts should only be used to receive payments from customers for goods or services.
