Yes, Cash App offers business accounts for small-business owners, independent contractors, and entrepreneurs who accept payments for goods or services. A Cash App Business account allows customers to pay through a business $Cashtag, Cash App QR code, payment request, or other supported payment method.

Cash App Business accounts are free to create, but receiving customer payments is not free. Cash App currently charges 2.6% plus $0.15 for each payment received from a customer’s Cash App account. Payments accepted through Tap to Pay are generally subject to a 3% processing fee. The applicable fee is automatically deducted from the payment before the remaining balance becomes available.

Using the correct account type helps keep business and personal activity separate and provides transaction records that may be useful for bookkeeping and tax reporting.
