How Much Does Cash App Charge to Cash Out?

The cost to cash out through Cash App depends on how quickly you want the money transferred. A Standard transfer to a linked bank account is free and normally arrives within one to three business days.

An Instant transfer sends the money immediately to an eligible linked debit card, but Cash App charges a fee. Cash App currently lists the Instant transfer charge as 0.5% to 2.5% of the transfer amount. The minimum fee may range from $0.25 to $1, and the maximum Instant transfer fee is $75. Cash App displays the exact charge before you confirm the cash out.

For example, a 1.5% fee on a $100 Instant transfer would be $1.50, while the same transfer using the Standard option would be free. Actual fees can vary, so the amount shown on the confirmation screen should be treated as the final cost. If an Instant transfer fails, Cash App says the fee will be refunded.
