How to Get a PayPal Link

You can get a permanent PayPal payment link by creating a PayPal.Me link. Sign in to your PayPal account and open the Profile section of your account settings. Look for PayPal.Me and follow the prompts to choose a personalized username. Your finished link will look similar to paypal.me/YourName.

Once the link is created, copy it and share it through text messages, email, social media, invoices, or your website. Anyone who opens it can enter an amount and send you money through PayPal. You can request a specific amount by adding it to the end of the link, such as paypal.me/YourName/50.

PayPal does not charge a setup fee for PayPal.Me. However, normal transaction fees may apply when you receive commercial payments. Choose your username carefully because PayPal states that a PayPal.Me username generally cannot be changed after it has been created.
