How to Give PayPal Info for Payment
To receive a PayPal payment, you can give the sender the confirmed email address or mobile number connected to your PayPal account. The sender can enter that information in PayPal to locate your account and send the payment. You can also provide your PayPal username, PayPal.Me link, payment request, invoice, or business payment link.
Confirm that the email address or phone number is correctly connected to your account before sharing it. A payment sent to an unconfirmed or incorrectly entered address may be delayed or sent to the wrong person. After the payment is received, PayPal will notify you, and the money should appear in your PayPal account.
Never give someone your PayPal password, one-time security code, full bank-account details, or complete debit-card number to receive a payment. Legitimate senders do not need that information. For purchases or client work, use a business payment, invoice, or goods-and-services transaction rather than a personal friends-and-family payment.
