How to Find Your Venmo QR Code

  1. Open the Venmo app
  2. Tap the scan icon at the top of the home screen
  3. Tap "My Code" or "Show to Pay"
  4. Your QR code appears on screen

The client opens their Venmo app, taps scan, and points their camera at your code. They enter the amount and send.

How to Save and Print Your QR Code

Screenshot your QR code from the Venmo app. Then you can:

  • Print it on a card to show clients after completing in-person work
  • Add it to a sign at your business location
  • Include it on receipts or invoices
  • Add it to a flyer or business card

Make sure the QR code is large enough to scan easily (at least 1.5 x 1.5 inches when printed).

When QR Codes Work Best

  • In-person services: Cleaning, personal training, tutoring, haircuts, handyman work
  • Events and markets: Craft fairs, farmers markets, pop-up shops
  • On printed materials: Business cards, flyers, menus

When QR Codes Don't Work

  • Remote clients: You can't scan a QR code through a text message. Use your Venmo link instead.
  • Clients without Venmo: They'll need another payment option.

Better for Business: QR Code + Payment Page

A Venmo QR code only works for Venmo. Clients who prefer PayPal, Zelle, or card need a different option.

Payable.at gives you a single payment page with all your methods. For in-person situations, share the QR code for your Payable.at page (not just Venmo). The client scans one code and sees every payment option.
